Currently, I am an advisor to the European Association of Hospital Managers (EAHM) Board on scientific issues.

In the past, I had the pleasure of serving also as Board Member and as Scientific Committee and to organize in 2018 the 27th EAHM Congress (Cascais, Portugal). The congress was dedicated to “Redefining the Role of Hospitals – Innovating in Population Health” and had more than 1000 participants across 43 different countries.

Please check below the congress best moments:

The European Association of Hospital Managers (EAHM)

The EAHM is a Pan-European non-profit and non-political umbrella organization of the national and regional organizations of hospital managers/Healthcare Executives.

The European Association of Hospital Managers (EAHM) was founded in 1970 under French law. It is the umbrella association for 19 leading hospital management associations in 18 European countries representing over 16,000 individual members. The EAHM serves explicitly and exclusively the public interest. It does not pursue any political, economic, or confessional goals.

The EAHM is one of the world’s largest hospital management associations. It represents both the hospital managers of public and private hospitals in the European Union and internationally.

Targeting the construction of a social Europe, the EAHM elaborates on proposals regarding the hospital sector to the European authorities. The EAHM is also an interlocutor for the healthcare industry.
