Research in management

I’m a member of the Comprehensive Health Research Center (CHRC). The CHRC is a center of excellence for research, training, and innovation, in health promotion, prevention, rehabilitation, and healthcare services.

Based in Portugal, this consortium is composed of healthcare professionals, researchers, academics, patients, and entrepreneurs who work together towards a common goal. CHRC provides a unifying environment for health research, innovation, and education in public health, lifestyles, nursing, rehabilitation, and clinical research.

I’m also an associate member of the NOVA SBE’s Health Economics & Management Knowledge Center.

The main areas of my research currently include healthcare managers’ recruitment and performance, and providers’ resistance to healthcare innovation.
