During the past 2-days, the World Health Organization – European Region organized the historical “Meeting of Minds on Quality of Care” in Athens, Greece, to accelerate actions to ensure the care quality in the post-COVID-19 era.

I had the great pleasure to be the keynote speaker of the session “Partnerships, stakeholders’ engagement and establishment of supportive collaboration and mutual learning networks in the area of quality of care and patient safety”.

The development of health services requires 💡 new thinking 💡where all stakeholders participate and create the ideal conditions to promote and test new solutions to providing care.

I used the opportunity to briefly talk about the recently approved Healthy4Ageing CoLAB, led by Universidade de Coimbra and where Centro Hospitalar e Universitário de Coimbra is a core partner. An ecosystem that promotes, creates and tests healthcare improvement.
